Description:

Behind the Mask project is piloted by Calgary-based artist Katie Green. This community based project consisted of three workshops with eight participants who constructed paper-mache masks.

The participants then were photographed wearing the masks at various sites in downtown Vernon. The photographs will be reproduced on a large scale and installed as murals. Finally, the set of masks and the photographs will be displayed at the Vernon Public Art Gallery in a stand-alone exhibition.
