Do you love dance? Well, Baila Vernon has something for you! Join 6-time World Salsa Champion, Paulina Posadas from Montreal and Vernon Salsa for a one-day celebration of Latin dance shows, workshops and social dancing!
Kick off the day with a series of Salsa and Latin dance workshops (noon to 4 pm) taught by Vernon Salsa instructor Susana Campos, guest Okanagan instructors and special guest instructor Paulina Posadas. Workshops are for all levels — from curious beginners to passionate dancers.
In the evening, enjoy a spectacular showcase (7:30 pm–8:30 pm) featuring Vernon Salsa’s student and instructor performances, plus an exceptional performance by Paulina Posadas, who will perform her world-class routine live on stage. You don’t want to miss it!
After the shows, stay for the Salsa Social Dance Party (9 pm–midnight) — a night of music, movement, and connection that will keep you dancing until the last song with a special DJ.
Whether you’re dancing, watching, or just soaking up the atmosphere, Baila Vernon promises to bring the heat to the heart of winter.
Workshops run from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Showcase Doors open at 7:00 p.m. – The showcase is from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Dance 9 pm-12 am
The first workshop at noon is free: Salsa Partnerwork (50 minutes), open to the public! Registration required.
