Belonging: A Reflection on Creative Resistance and Resilience

Date:

Thu, May 16th, 2024

Time:

6:00 pm

Description:

In our community, oppression, discrimination, and racism persist, motivating local creators to use art as a way to understand and express their personal experiences. Vernon and District Immigrant and Community Services Society invites you to join us May 16th, for a special evening at the Vernon and District Performing Arts Centre, where we'll honour these creative efforts and gain deeper insight into the remarkable works.

Doors open at 6pm and guests are invited to experience the exhibits at their leisure throughout the evening. Admission is free and includes entry to a raffle with art, products and experiences from local businesses. Snacks and refreshments will be available.
